Microsoft Joins in with OLPC

In what appears to be an odd move OLPC has let Microsoft join in.

The not-for-profit company that wants to see every underprivileged kid in the world with one of their $100 notebooks has decided to include Windows in on the meant-to-be Linux powered box.

This will undoubtably raise the price (already $188 anyway) but apparantly could lead to new hardware design efficiencies that will, in turn, lower the price.
